Yuletide drives business activity to first rise in six months –Report

Despite the elevated inflationary environment, business activities in Nigeria rose for the first time in six months in December 2024 during the festive season. According to the Stanbic IBTC Bank Nigeria Purchasing Manager Index released on Thursday, there was also a second successive increase in new orders and renewed expansions in output, employment, and purchasing.
