Newscenter Media News A Ukrainian hacking group has claimed responsibility for destroying a Russian ISP that wiped out servers, causing immediate and complete internet outages.
The hacker collective known as Ukrainian Cyber Alliance claimed responsibility for the attack, claiming that Nodex, a company situated in St. Petersburg, “was completely looted and wiped out” while the empty equipment without backups was left to them.
“Data exfiltrated, while the empty equipment without backups was left to them,” according to the group’s post on Telegram.

In a statement posted on the Russian social network VK, Nodex acknowledged the attack, stating that its network had been “destroyed” and that it was attempting to restore infrastructure using backups.
The internet provider later claimed that Ukrainian hackers were responsible for the cyberattack, which resulted in a “complete failure” of its infrastructure.
