Investors in the Nigerian equities market experienced a boom this last trading week gaining N801 billion on the floor of the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) as equity capitalization crossed the N60 trillion mark, increasing from N59.42 trillion to N60.26 trillion.
The bourse recorded gains throughout the week as the All-Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 1.41% to close the week at 99, 448.91 from 98,070.28 points recorded the previous week.
The market performance was boosted by strong performance by stocks like Eunisell Interlinked Plc, United Bank For Africa Plc, Unilever Nigeria Plc and Chemical and Allied Products Plc (CAP) and others making them stocks to watch in the new week.
