TRANSPOWER, MCNICHOLS, DANGSUGAR, MECURE others top list of stocks to watch this week

Investors in the Nigerian equities market experienced a boom this last trading week gaining N3.34 trillion on the floor of the Nigerian Xchange Group (NGX) as equity capitalisation increased from N56.08 trillion to N59.42 trillion

The bourse recorded gains in two of the five trading days of the week as the All-Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 0.48% to close the week at 98,070.28 from 97,520.54 points recorded the previous week.

The market performance was boosted by strong performance by stocks like Mecure, Lasaco, Conhall Plc, Sterling and others making them stocks to watch in the new week.
