The Nigerian equities market took a further dent last week as investors lost N476 billion on the trading floor during the period.

The equities market gained in only one of the five trading days and incurred a loss of N476 billion in the process as the market capitalization crashed to N66.7 trillion from N67.1 trillion recorded the previous week.

Similarly, the All-Share Index (ASI) depreciated by 1.19% to close the week at 106,538.60 points from 107,821.39 points recorded the previous week.

Amid the poor showing of the market, stocks like Tantalizers Plc; UH Real Estate Investment Trust; and Livestock Feeds (LIVESTOCK) performed creditably well to position themselves as stocks to watch in the new week.
