Stabilise customs duty exchange rate, CPPE tells govt

The Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise has called for an amendment to the Customs Act and a stabilisation of the exchange rate used for customs duty calculations. CPPE’s Director, Dr Muda Yusuf, recommended a pegging of the customs duty exchange rate at N1,000/$ as a stop-gap measure to the current rates of N1578/$
