The Senate has announced Sen. Musa Mustapha (APC-Yobe) as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Livestock Development. The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, also announced other heads of committees during plenary on Wednesday. Mustapha’s emergency as chairman of the livestock development committee follows the creation of the Ministry of Livestock Development by President Bola Tinubu. Explaining further, Akpabio said that with the elevation of Sen. Mohammed Monguno (APC-Borno) to the position of Majority Whip of the Senate, his Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights, and Legal Matters will now be chaired by Sen.
