At least one person was killed and nine others injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on the western Russian city of Kursk overnight.
Russian state news agency TASS reported on Tuesday, citing local military authorities.
According to the TASS report, several buildings caught fire during the attack, including a garage used for ambulances.
In recent months, Russia has carried out multiple drone attacks on Ukrainian cities.
On Sunday, at least 34 people were killed in a Russian missile strike on the eastern Ukrainian city of Sumy, while Kiev and Kharkiv were also targeted in recent days.
On Monday, the Russian Defence Ministry claimed that no fewer than 235 soldiers have been lost in the past day by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk direction.
Ukraine and Russia have been fighting for over three years as of today, and many casualties have been recorded on both sides.
