Newscenter Media News Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen will now remain at Serie A club Napoli after he failed to secure a move to Chelsea on deadline day.
The European summer transfer window came to a close by 23:00 on Friday and it was expected that before the end of the day, Osimhen would have sealed a move to Stamford Bridge.
But according to Fabrizio Romano, Italian football transfer expert, Chelsea delegation left Napoli failing to get Osimhen agreement.
Chelsea, according to reports, offered the player a contract worth €155,000-a-week, which is less than he is currently paid at Napoli and the player was unwilling to take the pay-cut.
