Osimhen returns from injury break, scores again for Galatasaray

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has returned to the game after a short injury break, and was on target for Galatasaray on Saturday night.

The Nigeria international who is on loan at the Turkish giants played a substitute on his return and scores the team’s third in their 3-0 victory over Antalyaspor.

Osimhen had only returned to training this week, having been sidelined since September after picking up a knock.

The manager Okan Buruk side dominated the game as Mauro Icardi scored twice in the first half.

The Argentine was then replaced by Osimhen in the 78th minute, who then netted the visitors third goal of the game in stoppage time.

The 25-year-old has now scored three goals in four league appearances for the Yellow and Reds this season.

The Turkish Super Lig champions will host Besiktas in their next league game. They will face IF Elfsborg in the Europa League next Thursday.
