The Nigerian equities market endured a week to forget losing a massive N1.45 trillion following a dip in the share prices of some listed stocks.
The bourse recorded losses in three of the five trading sessions last week as the market capitalization crashed to N62.8 trillion from N64.3 trillion the previous week.
Similarly, the All-Share Index (ASI) depreciated by 2.94% to close the week at 102,353.68 points from 105,451.06 points recorded the previous week.
Despite the poor showing of the bourse, several stocks like Neimeth, SCOA, NNFM, Livestock amongst others still posted strong showings on the trading floor positioning them as stocks to watch in the new week.
