Kano: APC vows to defeat NNPP in 2027 election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State on Thursday vowed to defeat the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2027 general election in the state.

The APC Chairman in the state, Prince Abdullahi Abbas, stated this in a statement in Kano.

He advised former Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso to prepare for his party’s defeat in the election.

Abbas cautioned against any action capable of compromising the outcome of the 2027 elections.

He said: “Our teeming supporters in the APC have no cause to worry.”

He assured that APC was already waiting in the wing to reclaim the state from NNPP.

Kwankwaso recently boasted that NNPP would diminish APC’s influence on Kano State.

The former governor stated this when he received some former councillors and senior special advisers who served during Abdullahi Ganduje’s administration in the state.

“The New Nigeria Peoples Party achieved this remarkable feat despite being a new political platform coupled with the late start of its campaign.

“Now, it’s our turn to diminish APC’s influence.

“We will work tirelessly to ensure their votes are reduced to less than 15,000 in Kano come 2027,” Kwankwaso stated.
