Newscenter Media News The Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KAD-SIECOM) has scheduled the local government elections in the state for Oct. 19, 2024. The commission’s chairperson, Hajara Mohammed, announced the date at a Tuesday meeting with political parties and other concerned individuals in Kaduna. Mohammed said that the current council members were sworn into office on Nov. 1, 2021 and would end their three-year tenure on Oct. 31, 2024.
