Jigawa withdraws from suit challenging legality of EFCC, ICPC

Jigawa State has withdrawn from a lawsuit challenging the legality of Nigeria’s anti-corruption agencies – the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission. Arewa PUNCH reports that this move follows a similar decision by the Benue State government as both states reconsidered their positions while awaiting judgment.
