Newscenter Media News Ghanaian actor-turned-politician John Dumelo has secured a seat in parliament, representing the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency. Dumelo, running on the platform of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), won the 2024 Ghana general elections, held on Saturday by garnering 40,561 votes. He defeated incumbent Lydia Alhassan of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who received 27,377 votes.
