Newscenter Media News Gunmen led by a notorious bandits’ kingpin, Bakin Malam, have invaded Makera community in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
DAILY POST learnt that they kidnapped an unspecified number of residents and took away valuables, including eight motorcycles and food supplies.
Intelligence sources said that the attack, which occurred in the early hours of Wenesday, March 26, was believed to be a reprisal attack following the recent arrest and elimination of another bandit leader, Hassan Dantawaye, known as “Na’bamamu,” by troops of Operation Fansan Yamma, OPFY.
All efforts for comments from the State Police Command spokesman, ASP Yazid Abubakar proved abortive as of the time of filing this report.
