Former Niger Delta militant leader, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, has issued a stern warning to President Bola Tinubu and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, telling them to expect dire consequences if Governor Sim Fubara is impeached.
The leader of the defunct Niger Delta Volunteer Force (NDVF), who made the threat in a viral video on Tuesday, warned that the Ijaw people will not take any attempt to impeach Fubara lying low as there will be serious repercussions if the governor is removed as being speculated.

In the video, Asari also extended his threat to the 27 members of the state House of Assembly led by Martins Amawhule which gave the governor a the 48-hour ultimatum to present the state’s 2025 budget, saying if they make any attempt to commence impeachment processes on Fubara, they will face the wrath of the Ijaw people.
He declared his readiness to lead the Ijaw nation to fight for Fubara who is an Ijaw son and vowed that any attempt to truncate his administration will be met with serious and telling resistance.
