Newscenter Media News The Nigerian Army has refuted reports that the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Taoreed Lagbaja, has resigned. An online report (not by The PUNCH) had claimed that Lagbaja had submitted his resignation letter to President Bola Tinubu. The report claimed that his resignation came 24 hours after escaping an assassination attempt on his life.
