Super Eagles duo of Joe Aribo and Paul Onuachu were on target for Southampton as they sealed a dramatic 2-1 victory over fellow Premier League Strugglers Ipswich Town.
The game played on Saturday at Portman Road saw Southampton secure their first Premier League victory since November.
While Saints remain anchored to the bottom of the table with just nine points from 24 games, their win also arrests a run of six consecutive top-flight defeats.
Southampton have dropped 20 points from winning positions during a dismal campaign.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah scored a brace for Liverpool in their 2-0 victory over Bournemouth.

Salah is now on 178 league goals, lifting him to sixth on the list in the Premier League era, ahead of Frank Lampard on 177.
The Egyptian put the Reds ahead with a well-taken 30th-minute penalty, before scoring his second of the day on 75 minutes.
Elsewhere, Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi was in action for Fulham as they defeated hosts Newcastle United 2-1.
In the other games, Everton thrashed Leicester City 4-0, while Wolverhampton Wanderers secured a 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
