After 100m no-show, Favour Ofili zooms into 200m Olympics final

Nigeria’s Favour Ofili has reached the final of the women’s 200m athletics final after failing to participate in the 100m event due to administrative issues.

Ofili becomes the first Nigerian woman to qualify for the final of the 200m event at the Olympics in 28 years.

Ofili ran 22.05 seconds to finish third fastest overall behind Gabby Thomas and 100m winner, Julien Alfred in the semifinal races.
